The world
Wisps live on the ground of a planet. Scroll to zoom: keep zooming out and the
planet becomes a globe, then its solar system, then the galaxy —
an endless field of stars, each with its own worlds. Scroll back in on any planet to
land on it. Drag to pan, or use the arrow keys. In the solar system, settle the
wheel on a planet to focus it; on the star map, click a star to visit its system.
Watching Wisps
Click a Wisp to select it and see its needs, genes, memories and family.
The 🫂 Colony list on the left names everyone living on the world you are
looking at and what each one is doing — click any name to zoom to that Wisp and
follow it. 🎯 Follow keeps it centred; 👣 Go to Wisp jumps the camera to
one after another. The 🔍 Watch panel shows the whole colony's needs and what each one is
doing — and failing to find. 🐺 Wolfling Mode fast-forwards the world to watch
many generations pass.
Caring for them
Drop food puts a meal on the ground where you click. Add Wisp and
🧪 Seed 10 bring in newcomers; 🥚 Eggs holds any eggs you pick up.
Speak to them by just typing — words like come, eat, sleep, play, good, bad —
and they can learn them. The 🧬 Inject panel places food sources, toys,
critters, machines (a Rosetta Stone that teaches words, a Button Feeder they must
learn to press, an incubator, medicine), hazards and scenery.
Saving
💾 Save keeps the habitat in this browser and 📂 Load restores it.
📚 Saves manages named saves and .sav files you can share.
📥 Import loads Wisps from a file. 🗑️ Start Fresh wipes everything.
When something looks wrong
⚠ Log shows errors and this build's id. 🩺 Debug opens a snapshot of
the whole world — copy it into a bug report. 📊 Perf profiles the frame and
holds the quality settings; 👁 Eyes and 🎨 Skin change how Wisps look;
the 🔊 button and slider control sound.
Esc or ✕ closes this. The pace of the world is the speed group in
the toolbar — ⏸ pauses the simulation while the camera keeps working.
